The Code Enforcement Division enforces the regulations of the Village of Los Lunas Animal Control Code during regular business hours. This includes pet registrations, and responding to concerns regarding animal welfare, barking dogs and other animal-related nuisances for domestic animals, or dogs running at large. It also includes wildlife related concerns, such as relocating snakes and other wild animals.
Have animal control concern or question? Contact the Community Development Department during normal business hours, or Valencia Regional Emergency Communications Center (VRECC) after hours and on weekends - Dial 911 for emergencies, or 505-865-2039 for non-emergencies and nuisances. An animal control or police officer will respond to your concern.
You can also report non-emergency animal control concerns through our online code enforcement complaint form.
