IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19

Effective immediately, the Community Development Department will be implementing changes to our operations in order to minimize the flow of traffic through our office.  If you need to meet with any of our staff, for animal control, planning and zoning, code enforcement, building plans, or economic development items, please call or email instead of dropping by.  We are not able to accept walk-in meetings at this time but are happy to speak to you on the phone, over the email, or via a virtual meeting.

The health and safety of our residents, visitors, and staff is of the utmost importance to us, and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

The Village of Los Lunas Community Development Department includes the Planning Division, Economic Development Division, and Code Enforcement Division.  We issue business registrations, building permits, animal licenses, and assist with the application and public hearing process for all zoning and subdivision applications.  We respond to complaints for animal control and code enforcement issues.  In addition, we support economic development, long range planning and ordinance updates, and spearhead the Los Lunas Roads Less Traveledâ„  tourism initiative.
