
New Mexico Off-Highway Motor Vehicles Regulations
New Mexico has new requirements for off-highway vehicles (OHV's), designed to protect the safety of all OHV use. The law, implemented in January 2006, requires all OHV users to register or acquire a permit for their OHV if it is used on public land. Additionally juveniles who drive OHV's are required to meet approved safety standards. Click on the following links for more information.
