Marcia Spencer and her daughter, a junior at Los Lunas High School, have been residents of Los Lunas for 13 years. Marcia was born and raised in Albuquerque and graduated from Menaul High School and UNM. She earned a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from University of Phoenix in 2003 and a Master's Degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders in 2019 from Grand Canyon University. Marcia has been working for Los Lunas Schools as a teacher in the area of special education since 1998. In the past, Marcia has served her community as a Volunteer Probation Officer in Albuquerque. She has enjoyed working with the Community Development Department and her fellow commissioners.
