Sandra Goldberg has dedicated 26 years to the field of education, with a strong focus on fostering environmental awareness among students. Holding a master's degree in secondary education with an emphasis on environmental education from the University of New Mexico, Sandra also earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and an associate's degree from the University of New Mexico-Valencia campus. In 2019, Sandra was awarded Teacher of the Year Finalist by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
A resident of Valencia County for 33 years, Sandra has deep roots in the community and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of learners. Outside of the classroom, Sandra enjoys fulfilling family life, being married for 32 years and a proud parent to two children and grandparent to one grandchild.
