Councilor James T. Runyon was elected Village Councilor for the Village of Los Lunas in November of 2021. Councilor Runyon currently serves as Pastor of First Baptist Los Lunas, a church with over 85 years of supporting and feeding thousands in the Village of Los Lunas.
Councilor Runyon and his wife of 28 years have four children who live and work in Los Lunas. He stays extremely busy with his church community, and – with a 2nd-degree blackbelt in TaeKwonDo – as a volunteer martial arts instructor in Los Lunas most nights of the week.
Councilor Runyon is a multi-engine flight instructor, author of five books, and a professor (online and in person) at various universities. He is looking forward to benefitting the people of Los Lunas and especially District 4 residents.
