Bosque Farms, NM

Country livin at it's best!
The Village of Bosque Farms is situated in Valencia County on the east bank of the Rio Grande River within the Middle Rio Grande Basin. The Village lies on relatively flat lands between the river and the upper plateau to the east, which rises abruptly and then slopes gently up to the foot of the Manzano Mountain Range some fifteen miles away. The Isleta Indian Reservation wraps around the northern portion of Bosque Farms. Albuquerque is approximately six miles north of Bosque Farms, giving our residents simple access to the city life.

The Village of Bosque Farms has been an incorporated municipality since 1974. The population of Bosque Farms has grown to the excess of 4,000 people since incorporation. Although Bosque Farms is historically an agricultural community, it has evolved into a suburban village of the Albuquerque metropolitan region.

Bosque Farms is one of three incorporated municipalities and is located about five miles north of the Village of Los Lunas, the County Seat, and about 15 miles north of the City of Belen. Bosque Farms has remained residential in character although a prosperous local business strip continues to develop along Hwy 47. You will find convenient shopping, entertainment, and recreation locally, and to the north and south of the community.
