Our lights at the Los Lunas Sports Complex are complete! What better way to break them in than with a night of bombs!
We will be hosting Thursday Night Lights Home Run Derby on September 8! FREE to enter, but limited to the first 12 hitters in each division.
General Rules:
12 Hitters per division
Order determined by random draw for first round. For second round and finals order will be from least HRs to most in previous round.
10 "outs" per round. Any swing that is not a home run is considered an out.
After first round, top 4 hitters move to second round
After second round, top 2 hitters move to the final
In the event of a tie, hitters will do a 3 swing playoff, and continue until someone advances
All hitters, except on deck hitter, must help shag when not hitting
Division Specific Rules:
Youth Baseball:
12 Under- Co-Ed
200' Fence
Baseballs and pitcher will be provided unless you want to bring your own pitcher
Any Little League, USA, or USSSA approved bat may be used
Fastpitch Softball:
18 and under- girls only
200' Fence
Softballs and pitcher will be provided unless you want to bring your own pitcher
USSSA, ASA approved bats may be used
High School Baseball
18 and under- Co-Ed
300' Fence
Baseballs and pitcher will be provided unless you want to bring your own pitcher
BBCOR or wood bats may be used
Slowpitch Softball
300' Fence
YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN BALLS AND PITCHER
USSSA approved bats and balls only
