COMMISSIONER AT LARGE
Term Length: 2 Years, 2023-2025
Michael Montoya, a transplant from Albuquerque's North Valley, has lived in the Village of Los Lunas for over 15 years, bringing his mother with him when he moved. He is also a husband to a beautiful wife, the father of three full-grown beautiful girls, a stepfather to two excellent young men, and a grandfather to six grandchildren with one on the way. Michael has many skills, including but not limited to building and stormwater inspections, a CDL-A license, Realtor's license, associates in criminal justice, and is a Certified Flood Plain Manager. He hopes to draw from his experiences and work toward a better community as he was once told by a great friend, "if you are not willing to take part in helping your community, you can't complain about your community."
