ROUND ONE GRANT APPLICATION

APPLICATION PERIOD: SEPTEMBER 11, 2020 THROUGH OCTOBER 2, 2020

The Village will award up to $10,000 per applicant for eligible expenses incurred between March 1, 2020 and October 2, 2020.  Click here to apply and see below for further guidance.

In Round 1, the Village will be awarding a total of $250,000, for expenses already incurred by the application deadline.  Per NM Department of Finance and Administration guidelines, the CARES Act Small Business Grants are reimbursement grants, meaning that we cannot fund your business up front for future planned expenditures.  We can, however, reimburse eligible businesses for qualified expenses that have already been incurred by the time the application window closes.  This is being done in order to streamline our review process and ensure that we can get funds in the hands of our small businesses in the most timely manner.

The Village is making every effort to ensure this funding is accessible to every business that needs it.   Therefore, we will not deny any eligible grant application.  If funding requests for Round 1 exceed the total $250,000, we will proportionately reduce each total award based on the grant’s score.  Review scoring matrix here.

APPLICATION REVIEW

Per NM Department of Finance guidelines, only the grant application itself needs to be submitted for your business to be deemed eligible and considered for this grant.  Supporting documentation will be required when the award is accepted.  PLEASE NOTE:  If you cannot provide all of the required supporting documentation, or if your supporting documentation does not reflect the information included in your grant application that helped the Village determine your eligibility, your award may be rescinded and the funds awarded to you redistributed to other applicants.  Please ensure that all of your required supporting documentation is in order at the time of application to ensure this does not happen.
