The Los Lunas Parks and Recreation Department understands that quality of life is vital to the residents of Los Lunas.
The numerous facilities and recreational programs provided by the Parks and Recreation Department contribute directly to the health and well-being of the entire community. The Department is a dynamic organization that constantly responds to change, develops new programs, adds and upgrades facilities and continues its efforts to preserve green space.
The Los Lunas Parks and Recreation maintains:
- 15 public parks
- One recreation center
- 1,500 acres of open space
- Numerous programs for youth, adults, seniors and outdoor enthusiasts
- Comprehensive athletic program
- Many facilities that provide resources for a range of activities
New Mexico Off-Highway Motor Vehicles Regulations
New Mexico has new requirements for off-highway vehicles (OHV's), designed to protect the safety of all OHV use. The law, implemented in January 2006, requires all OHV users to register or acquire a permit for their OHV if it is used on public land. Additionally juveniles who drive OHV's are required to meet approved safety standards. Click on the following links for more information.
