The Village of Los Lunas Cultural Recreation Division presents a wide variety of special events for the whole family. This division also manages the daily operations of the Los Lunas Visitors Center; mailing out free visitor guides to potential visitors and people requesting information about relocating to the area across the nation.

Cultural and community celebrations are essentially about a way of life. They are a celebration of what a community is, where it has come from and where it is going. The Village supports events that attract visitors from across the county like the Rt 66 Rodders Annual Automotive Parts Swap Meet, Valencia County Chamber of Commerce SummerFest, Valencia County Kennel Club Dog to celebrations like the 4th of July event and Christmas Light Parade.

Due to the extensive use of Village park facilities this division requires a permit in reserving a park for company socials, weddings, and community events. Reservation for birthday parties, family picnic’s are not required; however check with this office (352-3584) before you plan your family gathering due to pre-reserved community events.

 
There are fees for reserving a park for community events and/or requesting services (electricity, tables, chairs, support personnel i.e.) from the Village of Los Lunas. Understand there are rules and regulations in using park/open space facilities that need to be followed; larger community vents require a special event permit that require more detailed information.
