Parents Association for Youth Sports (PAYS)
The PAYS on-line program is designed to help parents better understand their roles and responsibilities in youth sports, how to support the leagues goals, the coaches efforts and all of the children in the program. One parent from every player participating in Los Lunas must take the PAYS program. If you have more than one child, only one class is required. The interactive online program takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

- The PAYS On-line Program home page will allow you to access the program by filling out the following information:
- Select "First Time Member with a Chapter", and proceed to the drop down menu
- Choose your chapter from the drop down menu: NM-Los Lunas Parks & Rec.
- Enter the code 1137 and click on the "next" button

System Requirements
- Internet Explorer, version 5.5 or higher
- Program will not run on LINUX or Macintosh. The program will run on all Windows ME, Windows XP and Windows 2000 systems
- Video runs through Windows Media Player 9 and has the latest patches from Microsoft
- Video requires higher bandwidth line so the videos are of good quality. Videos are not designed to be streamed at anything less than 128kbps
Issues
If you have issues, these might be some that you experience:
- Not enough RAM to run program or download Media Player 9
- Processor speed
- Video card
- If you have a dial-up modem, the video will be run really slow and you will probably experience only being able to view several seconds at a time
- Specific Error Message in Internet Explorer. (Please send to PAYS to better determine problem)
- Watching the videos will not cause Internet Explorer to fail, blow up, or crash.
- You might have a firewall if you are using business computers that may not allow you to access the video portion
