The responsibilities for the Village of Los Lunas Municipal Court include:
- Providing adjudication of all violations of all Village Ordinances and criminal offenses
- Arraigning persons cited for Municipal Ordinances violations
- Accepting pleas
- Conducting trials
- Assessing fines and sentences to persons guilty of violating Municipal Ordinances
- Collecting and record fine
- Answering questions related to the function of the court system
- Providing Village Administrators with information from the Court as necessary
