As a branch of the Los Lunas Public Library, the museum is committed to supporting the Village of Los Lunas’ mission of providing the best possible services to our patrons, the entire community including citizens, businesses and all other government entities located in the area by providing convenient and effective access to high-quality information resources designed to meet the progressing educational, cultural, and recreational needs of the community.
In keeping with this mission, the Museum seeks to:
- Collect the oral histories, photos and artifacts of long time area residents and businesses
- Preserve and archive the oral histories and artifacts collected
- Provide an educational outlet by exhibiting selected histories, arts, traveling displays and sponsoring guest speakers
- Provide genealogical materials in electronic and hardcopy format for research purposes
